On the extraordinary date of February 29, a day that comes once in four years, we implore you to join us passionately in commemorating World Rare Disease Day. This moment serves as a great opportunity to extend your heartfelt support to unique communities, notably the our GAND community. GATAD2B-associated neurodevelopmental disorder (GAND) has left an indelible mark on over 350 lives globally, with more than 90% of them being children. Despite its modest size, our community saw an influx of over 70 new cases in 2023.

Since its establishment in 2015, Helping Hands for GAND has tirelessly pursued its mission to uplift individuals and families like ours affected by GAND, raise widespread awareness, and actively contribute to groundbreaking research and treatment initiatives.

Helping Hands for Gand has a track record that includes organizing six impactful conferences and allocating $150,000 in research grants for crucial GAND studies. We ardently seek your partnership in propelling this vital work forward. In the upcoming year, your support is absolutely crucial as we strive to host our most expansive conference to date, unveil our revolutionary patient registry, persist in supporting cutting-edge GAND research, and embark on other transformative endeavors. Together, let's forge a powerful impact on the lives of those touched by GAND. Your support is the catalyst for change, and we invite you to be an essential part of this noble journey.

Join us in supporting Helping Hands for Gand by spreading awareness and raising funds on World Rare Disease Day February 29th. By sharing John Ryan's Story we have been able to not only connect new families but join hands with other families who have desperately seeked a community like this. We could not share John's story had it not been the strength and incredible support of our Helping Hands for Gand community and all of those who share their stories on rare diseases. We appreciate all your kindness.
