A Heartfelt Day of Gratitude and Community at Costco

We were deeply honored to be invited to spend a beautiful day at our local Costco—a day filled with joy, connection, and purpose. It wasn’t just about fun activities; it was a moment where our family got to share our story, and where our community got to see the real impact of their kindness and generosity.

Thanks to the incredible support of Children’s Miracle Network and Children’s Specialized Hospital, families like ours—families navigating the unique challenges of rare disorders like GATAD2B—receive critical services that help our little ones grow more independent, step by step, day by day. These donations are more than numbers; they become therapy sessions, adaptive equipment, and hope-filled milestones.

At Costco, we made pizzas, baked cookies, decorated cakes—and left our mark with a painted handprint on the donation wall, a symbol of gratitude and the journey we’re on. But more than that, we left with full hearts.

Events like these are powerful reminders of what it means to be part of a community. Being surrounded by people who care, who give, and who show up—this gives us the strength to keep going. It’s not just support, it’s solidarity. And for families like ours, it makes all the difference.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to Costco, CMN, and Children’s Specialized Hospital for continuing to walk alongside us and so many others. Your support lifts us every single day.

With gratitude,

The John Ryan 4 GAND Team
